“Since I was a kid, I noticed that making other people happy made me happy. I’d literally do anything I could just to make the people I care about laugh or smile.
I’m still like that—but it’s different. I still urge to please people and to brighten up their day, but instead of feeling joy I feel sadness. Maybe because I know no one goes to those extents to make me smile, no one asks if I’m ok, no one can see through the smile on my face and look deep into my soul. It saddens me, but I never want to express that to anyone because I put them first. I always have.

You cannot make everyone think and feel as deeply as you do. This is your tragedy. Because you understand them, but they do not understand you.”
